The section meets regularly at Bisley between March and October on the Century and Stickledown ranges at distances between 300 – 1000 yds.
We are affiliated to the LMRA and use their clubhouse and facilities. We also have use of the club caravan which can provide overnight accommodation. We shoot the TR discipline, although Service Rifle and F class participants are welcome. The emphasis is on competitive shooting with a team entered in the LMRA league. A number of members represent the county and also compete in individual competitions and the Imperial Meeting at Bisley. There is a close relationship with the air rifle shooters as well as the small bore rifle section. This allows the shooter to extend and perfect their skills.
